Delete Account & Data
Aim is developed by Ezer Studio. This page explains how to permanently delete your Aim account and exactly what happens to your data when you do.
Delete from inside the app
- Open the Aim app.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Confirm twice. This cannot be undone.
If you can't access the app
Email care@aimcamera.info from the address you registered with, subject line "Account Deletion Request." We process these within 30 days and send a confirmation email once it's done.
An email request can only remove the data we hold on our servers (see below) — we have no way to reach into your phone remotely. If you also want your locally-saved projects and photos gone, delete the app (or clear its storage) on every device where you used it.
What gets deleted
On our servers: your account record (email, identity), your subscription/entitlement link, and your referral code together with any pending referral relationship.
On your device, when you delete from inside the app: your saved projects, reference photos, and captures, your Stream display name, your app preferences, and cached thumbnails.
Your photos, projects, and captures are never uploaded to our servers in the first place — they only ever live on your device. Deleting your account clears them from the device you delete on; it can't reach any other device, since we hold no server-side copy to erase.
Photos or videos you've separately saved to your phone's photo library are not affected — those belong to your device, not to Aim.
What we keep
Anti-fraud device token — a random, non-identifying ID stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain, or the equivalent secure storage on Android). We keep it for up to 24 months after account deletion so the same physical device can't repeatedly claim the referral trial by deleting and re-creating an account. It cannot be linked back to your name, email, or the deleted account.
Purchase records — your in-app purchase history is kept for up to 10 years to meet accounting and tax record-keeping obligations. We never see your card details; those stay with Apple, Google, and RevenueCat.
Processing time
Deletion from inside the app takes effect immediately. Server backups roll off within 30 days, after which the data is unrecoverable.
