Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Aim, the iOS app and related services ("Aim", "we", "our"). By installing or using Aim you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use Aim.
1. The service
Aim is a photo reference and pose-helper app for iPhone. It captures reference photos with their settings, lets you recreate the same framing later, and offers a "Stream" feature that mirrors your viewfinder to a nearby phone over the local network so the person you're shooting can see what you frame.
2. Your account
- You're responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
- One account per person. Don't share your account.
- Aim enforces single-device sessions: signing in on a new device automatically signs out the previous one.
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use Aim.
3. Subscriptions
- Aim is free to use with limits (2 projects, 5 photos per project, no Stream).
- Aim Unlimited is an auto-renewing subscription billed by Apple. Plans, prices, and renewal terms are shown on the in-app paywall before purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Renewal happens at the end of the current period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before.
- Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
- We don't issue refunds; Apple handles refunds at their discretion via reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Referral-granted Aim Unlimited is a free promotional credit. When it ends, your account simply returns to the free tier — it never converts to a paid plan and never triggers an automatic charge.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Aim for anything illegal or to harm others.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the app outside what's allowed by law.
- Game the referral system (creating fake accounts, using the same device repeatedly, sharing invite links to harvest credit). We may revoke any referral credit obtained in bad faith.
- Stream content you don't have the right to share to another device.
5. Your content
Photos you take or import stay on your device. We don't claim ownership of any of your content. You're responsible for the photos you capture, share, or stream and for anyone who appears in them.
6. Our content
The Aim name, logo, app code, and visual design are ours. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Aim on Apple devices you own or control. The license ends if you stop complying with these terms.
7. Reliability & backups
We work hard to keep Aim stable, but no software is bug-free. Don't use Aim as the only copy of photos you can't afford to lose — use the in-app export to save important shots to your iOS Photos library regularly. We are not responsible for photos lost because they were never backed up.
8. Changes to the service
We may add, change, or remove features at any time. Subscription terms in effect at the time you subscribe stay valid until your period ends.
9. Termination
- You can stop using Aim and delete your account at any time directly from inside the app: Settings → Delete Account. Deletion is permanent and irreversible. If you can't access the app, email care@aimcamera.info instead.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, especially abuse of the referral system.
10. Disclaimer
Aim is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Use it at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aim and its developers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost photos, lost projects, or lost revenue. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
12. Privacy
See our Privacy Policy for what data we collect and how we use it.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Vietnam, unless local consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring a claim in your own jurisdiction.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app and the "Last updated" date above will change. Continued use of Aim means you accept the updated terms.
